Racing is a very passionate sport that seems to be growing nonstop and only a select few get the opportunity to live their dreams. Fortunately, Taylor Stricklin has gotten a great chance to pursue his racing career in the #1 Monte Carlo SS Street Stock.

August 7, 2009 - Taylor Stricklin took the pole at his first time ever qualifying at Tri County Motor Speedway. As a result of the "dice roll", Stricklin started the race in 4th place. Leading almost the entire race, he got into the back wall with only a few laps to go, causing him a 4th place finish.
To all of my friends, family, fans, and sponsors, on August 8th 2009, we were disqualified following the race we won at Hickory Motor Speedway. The air filter on our car was found to be not legal by Hickory's rules. After appealing the disqualification and talking on the phone with the company who made the filter, we found out the filter that was on our car flowed less air than the "dry type, paper element" the rules called for. This was an honest mistake and after the appeal was not overturned, we have changed our filter and resumed competition with the high standards we wish to fulfill at Taylor Stricklin Racing. Thank you for your support and we wish to get back to victory lane soon, with no difficulties.
Thanks, Taylor Stricklin # ONE
August 15, 2009 - Taylor Stricklin qualified second and ran faster than ever. However, with 3 to go, Stricklin and the 88 of Josh Burchette collided coming off of turn 2 and sent both into the wall. Stricklin thankfully got handed the 7th place spot on this eerie night of racing.
